Dr. Narain Arora
Founder, Executive Director
Dr. Narain D. Arora, M.Sc. (Gorakhpur University), Ph.D. (IIT Delhi), Life Fellow IEEE, is the Founder and Executive Director of the School Governing Body. He retired in 2013 as Senior VP of Design Technology at Silterra Inc. Previously, held leadership roles at Cadence Design Systems, Simplex Solutions, and Digital Equipment Corp. Prior to joining DEC in 1983, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo and Visiting Professor at NCSU, Raleigh. Earlier in his career for 13 years he served as Scientific Officer at ARDE, Pune and SSPL, Delhi.
With 40+ years of teaching and industry experience in the IC field, Dr. Arora has delivered numerous invited talks, published 60+ journal papers, held 4 US patents and received the NSF Award in 2006. He authored the widely cited book MOSFET Modeling for VLSI Circuit Simulation (Springer, 1993), translated in Chinese 1999 and reprinted 2007. A former IEEE Distinguished Lecturer and Founding Chair of the CMT Committee, he also received two best paper awards. Currently, he devotes his time to philanthropy, supporting students through his charitable organization.
Dr Ajay Verma
Professor Ajay Verma, Trustee
Professor Verma, Ph.D serves as the Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Shobhit Deemed University in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. With an illustrious academic career spanning over fifteen years in the realm of computer science and engineering, he has knowledge about different domain such as Wireless Networking and Security, and different testing tools of computer Science and Engineering. He has done B.Tech in Information Technology, M.Tech Computer Science, and Doctorate in Computer Science. His area of research is in Network Security in Wireless LAN/ Cyber Security/WLAN Security, and his other areas of specialization include Network Security and Crypto algorithms. He has Convener, Keynote Speakers and participated in several highprofile conferences, seminars and workshops. The author has many research papers in international journals, review articles in various Scopus Indexed Journals, international journals and interested in academics and research. He has 15+ years’ extensive teaching and research experience in various Universities as well as industry across India. He also reviewed the Reputed International Journal Papers. He had been actively involved in various activities of Shobhit University.
