Shri Swarupanand School of Technology was founded in March 2017. It is managed by Sar Shiksha Sanstha, a non profit organization that has been working for the education and empowerment of the unprivileged section of society in India.  The school was established with the inspiration and blessing of Swami Dharmanand Ji Maharaj, the past Chairman of the Sar Shabad Mission that was founded in 1972 by His Holiness Swami Sar Shabadanand Ji Maharaj (Guru Ji). Swami Ji was a true saint of the 20th century who uplifted humankind through his teachings, stressing love for all living beings, and selfless service to society. He wrote many books but His book ‘Shri Swarup Darshan’ describing the life and teachings of His Holiness Satguru 1008 Swami Swarupanand Ji Maharaj, stands out as a treatise on how to grow spiritually and live life to its fullest. With the continuation of Guru Ji’s teachings, the mission of the school is to eradicate poverty through education, particularly in rural areas. Sar Shiksha is funded by Guru Ditta Mal Hukam Devi Charitable Trust, in collaboration with Sar Shabdanand Foundation.

We strongly believe education is the only avenue for opportunities and change in the lives of disadvantaged kids. With this in mind, Shri Swarupanand School of Technology made its humble beginning on May 23, 2017, in the Village Nangli, District Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, the village that was very dear to Guruji, being the spiritual seat of His Holiness Satguru Shri Swarupanand Ji Maharaj.

Initially, the Center had offered computer proficiency classes for students, particularly of rural areas with limited computer resources and prepared them to compete in the new economy of the Digital Age.  Later we added more advanced job oriented computer courses such as Data Entry and office automation courses.

With the strong desire to uplift and empower girls and women of rural areas a Sewing skill  Center was setup in the village of Nangli Sahib. The Center is equipped with 25 different types of sewing machines from Singer India Ltd. Class started April 17, 2023 with the enrolment of 60 students.

On May 23, 2017 the school started imparting computer teaching to village kids who have no knowledge about computers, and have resource issues. Since the start of the Computer Center more than 300 students from Nangli and its adjoining villages have studied at the school and have successfully passed 3 months Basic Computer Information Technology Course and Course on Computer Concept (CCC). In 2019 the school’s computer center was accredited through National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) for imparting Central Govt. approved computer training in ‘Digital Literacy’ courses like CCC, BCC etc. In mid-2022 School received NIELIT accreditation for teaching Data entry and office automation course.

On April 17, 2023 classes started at the Sewing Skill Center with the enrollment of 60 students. This will be six months diploma course at the end of which examination will be conducted by the government agency (Skill India).
